Professor Zucman's Art 110-02

Joseph Shuster was born on July 10, 1914 and died on July 30, 1992. Shuster was a comic artist who co-created arguably the most iconic and profoundly influential superhero of all time: Superman. With writer Jerry Siegel handling the backstories of the characters, Shuster brought them to life in a way that many others have tried to replicate even to this day.
Unfortunately, due to financial troubles, Shuster & Siegel sold the rights to Superman to Detective Comics, Inc. They later tried to regain the rights to their character, but were unable to.
The year of his death, Shuster was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame, and later in 2005 the Joe Shuster Awards were created in his honor.
